JetPCL Desktop is a Single User Windows program that converts PCL files into various electronic document image formats. It is intended for individual users that need to easily convert PCL files into Adobe Acrobat PDF, Standard TIFF, Windows BMP or DCX files for viewing, faxing, emailing or other purposes.
JetPCL Desktop will convert one PCL file at a time and is not designed for automated use. However, the user can easily setup JetPCL Desktop to convert to a specific output format once and then repeatedly select files for conversion. After conversion, JetPCL Desktop can be setup to launch an independent pre-existing viewer to display the output file.
JetPCL Desktop will accept input files that contain data ready for sending to an HP LaserJet printer, such as a PRN file. It will output Adobe Acrobat PDF, Standard TIFF Class-F, Windows BMP (one page per file) or DCX (a multipage PCX format) files. Output is available at 200, 300 or 600 dpi resolution.
