Do I need to use the SFT files supplied?
No, these are not required data files. They are needed only to emulate some of the uncommon LaserJet fonts. However, JetPCL will generate SFT files as it is being used. Sometimes these files will be saved between jobs, other times they will be deleted at the end of a job. These files reflect the commonly downloaded PCL softfonts. We recommend saving these files, but it is OK to erase these files as long as JetPCL is not currently running.
