We are the developers of Document Delivery software for enterprises. We have a need to allow our customers to fax their PCL print files. The processing of the PCL files will be handled on the client side. They need to fax looking exactly like they print.
[SOLUTION]
Use JetPCL Software Developer to convert the PCL files into faxable TIFF Class-F fax images. Once you have a TIFF image file, transfer it to the server along with fax destination information from the user, to be scheduled for delivery. JetPCL TIFF Class-F output files are ready for fax transmission, so fax hardware will not need to prepare the image before sending. Alternately these TIFF files can be transferred via the internet and delivered as email attachments too. Processing the JetPCL conversion will offload processing overhead from the server to the client side. Convert to Standard mode fax resolution, 200 dpi Fine mode fax resolution or 300 dpi High fax resolution.
