We have developed a software product that produces reports and various printed output and we would like to add a feature that allows the user to send these reports as an email attachment directly from our software. It is a stand alone software product.

Integrate JetPCL Software Developer into your product and use it to convert the PCL output files into PDF documents for emailing. You will need to design your product to automatically print your report through a local PCL print driver or generate the PCL print data internally. Once you have your report in PCL format, you can use JetPCL to convert it to PDF. Now you only need to design an interface to a local mail client (for example using MAPI), to enable your product to send email. Once your product can send email, you only need to allow the user to attach the PDF file.
