We provide document management and archiving services to our customers. Our customers need to be able to submit PCL documents. We need to be able to convert these PCL files into a format we can use. We will be doing the PCL processing on a server.
[SOLUTION]
Use JetPCL Service Provider to convert the PCL files into either PDF or TIFF files for importing into your product. JetPCL will allow you to accurately convert the customers PCL data into electronic document images at 200, 300 or 600 dpi. JetPCL will also let you extract text from the PCL stream for indexing and archiving purposes. Or you can use features that allow the user to embed indexing or routing information into the PCL file for use later. JetPCL can also insert images, such as bar codes, into a PCL stream too. JetPCL can be used to break up large PCL streams into smaller files or merge PCL files into a larger image file.
