Step 1 : Input & Output Formats
The first step to your PCL conversion solution, is determining the format of your incoming document stream. There are several levels of the PCL language. JetPCL supports the most common PCL levels including PCL-5, PCL-5e and PCL-XL (select PCL-5e if you are not sure). Additionally, JetPCL will accept some document image formats as input, such as TIFF, FAX and DCX
JetPCL can convert your selected input format into the formats listed below. Generally, JetPCL is used to convert PCL data into a document image format, such as PDF, TIFF, FAX and DCX. However, JetPCL can be used to transform document data between many different formats.
