[PROBLEM]
We are providers of outsourced business services for enterprises. We have a need to allow our customers to send their PCL print files. They must be able to easily submit their PCL files and they need them to fax looking exactly like they print.
[SOLUTION]
Use JetPCL Service Provider to convert the PCL files into TIFF or PDF files for faxing or emailing. Allow the client to submit print files via a web interface or with a customer written application that quickly moves the PCL file and the delivery destination information off of the client desktop. Convert the PCL file to a TIFF or PDF image file depending on the document delivery method. JetPCL TIFF Class-F output files are ready for fax transmission, so fax hardware will not need to prepare the image before sending. This will cut down on CPU overhead. TIFF or PDF files are both good for email delivery. When faxing, convert to Standard mode fax resolution, 200 dpi Fine mode fax resolution or 300 dpi High fax resolution. When emailing convert to a 300 or 600 dpi high resolution document image.
